Christopher Paul Stelling (Folk Fest '17 poem #3)

fast fingers on six strings
colour harmonic circles
around fine saw-tooth voice
singing circles of melody
around circles of thought

for here is a
troubadour of old
tatty hair and beard
facing circled crowd
with fearless eyes

summer orb is
a cotton shirt on
gathered seekers
taking on this hard life
surrounded with resonating song
